Current Changelog (WIP):

* [NEW] Respawn button is disabled during DayZ play - So no more trying to select where you spawn, good idea imo.
* [NEW] Optimized authentication process on login - Ok
* [NEW] Singleplayer mode disabled when DayZ is loaded - Ok
* [NEW] DayZ Logo and Version Number appear in game when DayZ is loaded - Cool
* [NEW] Hive now tracks login/logout (for use with preventing ALT+F4) - Fuck yes, sick of them Alt-F4 BASTARDS!
* [FIXED] Infected cannot hear weapon firing (now they actually hear again) - Didn't realise they couldn't hear
* [FIXED] Clothing no longer spawning (now it spawns as it used too) - Whoooohoooo

surprised the hive doesn't track login/out already

I wonder how this affects Alt+F4?

Was reading the forums a bit yesterday. Apparently all they are doing with regards to the Alt+F4 thing at the moment is logging what's happening. So an Alt+F4 event will get logged against your character (equivalent to a crash), as well as normal login/logout activity.

The initial plan is to use cool down timers on logins, stopping you from logging back in quickly after using Alt+F4 for example. The longer term plan Rocket is currently working on - this involves algorithms to scan user activity and look for patterns that would indicate a user is abusing the system in some way - by using Alt+F4 during a firefight, server hopping to find loot, etc. This will then be used to issue warnings and ultimately ban players. Apparently there will be a manual appeal system in place whilst they iron out any issues - can see them getting overwhelmed with requests. Sounds positive though if they can make it work.

Some other cool stuff in the pipeline too from the sounds of it. There was talk of selectable spawn areas, and even the possibility of spawning in groups/parties - that would be awesome!
